We are planning to open-source the specialized React library we developed and use to build custom 3D CPQ configurators: @parametra/core. We use this package for clients across the furniture, nautical, and manufacturing sectors, but it is also designed to be sector-agnostic and work with any product category, such as clothing and jewellery.
It's a thin domain-specific wrapper on React and Zustand to handle configuration state, undo/redo history, pricing, validation utilities, data preparation for assistance tickets, persistence, and sharable URLs. It's render-agnostic and it's already in production.
On top of the core, we are evaluating to roll out a set of backend services (starting with analytics, bug reporting, configuration storage, and real-time sync) that we already use internally in production.
